Project X29A
Looking for a challenging PSS model to build? Expressions of interest are being sought to purchasing an ARF model of the NASA X 29 A experimental canard aircraft. The model will be scaled as close as possible to the real thing. Only the wing section and area may be changed to enhance performance.

The model will be approximately 2.5m in length with a 2m wing span.

Construction will be of a composite material for the fuselage and foam and balsa for the wings and stabilisers.

The patterns and moulds will be built by myself, a professional patternmaker and model maker for the past 35 years. It will be built to extremely high standards in both accuracy and aesthetics. As I also do vacuum forming for a living, the patterns, moulds, and final parts for both the canopy and cockpit will be done on my premises.

The model will only be built when at least 20 names are on the orders list.

Cost is expected to be around AUD$800 per model.
